A BUS was evacuated and checked for explosives in Dudley.
Police were called to the town's bus station in Fisher Street at 10.45am on Saturday (July 7) after a driver raised concerns about a man who had boarded the bus in Lye Cross.
The bus was evacuated and checked by a police explosive sniffer dog but nothing suspicious was detected.
A West Midlands Police spokesman said: "It's understood the man in question had got off the bus before police were contacted.
"A search of the area he's believed to have disembarked was carried out but no-one matching the description was found.
"No other reports of suspicious behaviour have been received in connection with the incident."
A spokesman for National Express West Midlands said a member of staff had called because of "some concerns about a bus on the 276 service".
