A PENSNETT man has been banned from driving for 18 months.

Stephen Lee Gray, aged 41, of Chapel Street, was given a 12 month community order for drink driving in Dudley on June 19.

When tested, he had 88mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs.

He was also sentenced for driving without insurance, due care and attention and failing to stop the vehicle on being required to do so by a constable in uniform.

He must carry out 100 hours unpaid work and pay a victim surcharge of £85 and £135 court costs.

The following also appeared before Dudley Magistrates Court between June 28 and July 5:

Shaun Jackson, aged 35, of Ash Road, Dudley, was discharged conditionally for six months for assaulting a man in Dudley on December 23, 2017. He must pay £100 compensation, a victim surcharge of £20 and £135 court costs.

Aaron Stefan Booth, aged 19, of Gibbs Road, Lye, must pay compensation of £400 after causing £400 worth of damage to property in Heathbrook Lodge Hotel, Kingswinford. He must also pay a victim surcharge of £20.

Anthony Bagnall, aged 48, of Sprial Court, Stourbridge, was given a two year community order for assaulting a woman and using violence to secure entry into a property in Kingswinford, knowing that there was someone present who opposed said entry, on June 17. He was given an eight week curfew and for the duration must remain at his home address between 7pm and 7am. He must pay a victim surcharge of £85 and £135 court costs.

Richard Walker, aged 30, of Romsley Road, Stourbridge, was fined £350 for driving without due care and attention in Dudley on December 5, 2017. He was also sentenced for driving without insurance. He was given six penalty points and must pay compensation of £350, a victim surcharge of £35 and £300 court costs.

Mark Anthony Cartridge, aged 36, of Six Acres, Quinton, was given a 12 month community order for assaulting a woman in Halesowen on February 19 and possessing cannabis in Oldbury. He was also charged with using threatening or abusive words or behaviour with intent to cause harassment, alarm or distress. The offence was racially aggravated. He must carry out 100 hours unpaid work and pay compensation of £300.

Amjid Parvez, aged 48, of Buffery Road, Netherton, was discharged conditionally for 18 months for assaulting a woman in Dudley on April 21. He must pay a victim surcharge of £20 and £350 court costs.

Alan Patrick Shackleford, aged 67, of Wellington Road, Dudley, was given a four week community order for having an offensive weapon – a tyre bar – in Dudley on June 18. He was given a four week curfew and for the duration must remain at his home address between 7pm and 7am. He must pay a victim surcharge of £85 and £185 court costs.

Ralph Harrison McConnell, aged 44, of High Street, Wordsley, was fined £200 for using a mobile phone while driving in Brierley Hill on January 23. He was given six penalty points and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and £450 court costs.

Kelly Chater, aged 35, of Ivanhoe Street, Dudley, was sent to prison for 12 weeks for entering a private office at Cross Street Medical Centre, Dudley, as a trespasser on July 4 and stealing two purses, while subject to a conditional discharge. She must pay a victim surcharge of £115.

Tony Wayne Ball, aged 32, of Olive Lane, Halesowen, was given a six month community order for entering William Hill in Rowley Regis as a trespasser on June 17 with intent to steal. He must pay compensation of £50.

Creagan Alan Peter Piesley, aged 25, of Alexander Road, Quarry Bank, was discharged conditionally for 12 months for damaging a speed camera and bus shelter in Brierley Hill on February 22 and possessing cannabis. He must pay compensation of £100 and £20 victim surcharge.

Shaun Edward Trevor Stokes, aged 54, of Piper Place, Amblecote, was discharged conditionally for 12 months for damaging a car in Stourbridge on February 12 and fined £50 for failing to surrender to custody at Dudley Magistrates Court on July 3, having been released on bail. He must pay £200 compensation and a victim surcharge of £30.
