THERE is just over a week to go for families across Halesowen to take part in the annual Halesowen in Bloom treasure hunt.
Youngsters and their parents are being urged to join the search for crazy mixed up wild flowers which are hiding in shops around the town.
Every flower has a name, which once found, has to be written on the treasure hunt map, which are available from the foyer in Halesowen Library.
This year, the hunt takes participants to Anytime Fitness, Coffee Calling, The Carpet Shop, Lloyds Pharmacy, Bowens, Nails 4 You, the Beacon Centre and Smiths Electrical.
Completed entries should be put into the post box – also situated in the library – before Saturday, August 4.
The competition has become a regular feature helping to raise awareness of Halesowen in Bloom, with the town being assessed by the Britain In Bloom judges next Thursday (August 2) as the town competes in the national final for the first time.
