A COMIC who has appeared on both Live At The Apollo and Mock The Week is headlining a comedy night in Dudley next week.

Nathan Caton, who has also appeared on Channel 4’s Comedy Gala and Russell Howard’s Good News, will take centre stage at Comedy At The Court House.

The show, in the upstairs room at The Court House pub in New Street, takes place on Friday, August 31 and more than half the tickets have been snapped up already.

Support on the night will come from Bryan Lacey, Steff Todd and Tim Hoskins as ‘Marti’, with resident MC Wayne Beese hosting.

Wayne, who was born and bred in Dudley, said: “We’re delighted to be able to bring Nathan Caton to Dudley.

“He’s a brilliant comic, laid back, likeable and very, very funny, one of the best out there.

“We’ve got three fantastic support acts on the bill as well. Bryan plays all the big clubs, Steff went viral recently with her online impressions of the Love Island contestants and Tim’s portrayal of the German fish out of water Marti is hilarious.

“All in all it promises to be a fantastic night. We’re trying to bring the best acts to Dudley, but we need people to support the night and come along.”

The monthly club only started running earlier this year and takes place on the last Friday of every month.

Tickets cost £10 and are available at www.funnybeeseness.co.uk.
