A CRADLEY Heath primary school has staged a festive Santa Fun Run - vowing that Covid won't spoil its Christmas.

Pupils and staff at Temple Meadow Primary donned Christmas jumpers and hats and completed laps of its track, with each year group safely within their bubbles.

A spokesman for the school on Wrights Lane said: "COVID has not been allowed to spoil Christmas at Temple Meadow.

"We are still having fun and reaching out safely at Temple Meadow to our school community and beyond.

"As we are a Green Flag Eco School, we asked pupils to include recycled materials and old Christmas decorations such as baubles and tinsel on their hat.

"Parents were not able to join us but we did take lots of pictures for our school website.

"There were prizes for the most creative hats and Temple Meadow children love prizes."
