NINETY jobs are on offer at a new social care and health centre in Rowley Regis.

The £14 million Harvest View centre, which is set to open in September, will provide specialist support to help get people back home from hospital or to avoid a hospital stay altogether.

It is on Harvest Road near Powke Lane crem and features 80 bedrooms, communal areas, and state-of-the-art facilities.

Recruitment for new care and support roles at the centre is under way, with 90 positions still available.

Sandwell Council and Sandwell and West Birmingham NHS Trust are working to recruit roles including care assistants, nursing staff, cooks and domestic assistants.

Michaela Wilson, registered manager for Harvest View, said: “We are seeking highly-motivated and compassionate individuals to help shape the centre.

"Residents can stay with us for up to six weeks, and we want to ensure our residents are given the best support in that time.

“You will be working within a multi-disciplinary team, with professionals from various sectors coming together with the joint aim of getting our residents home.”
