Talented gymnasts from a Cradley school beat teams from around eight schools to triumph in a competition.

A squad from Colley Lane Primary School won the Dudley Schools' Gymnastics Competition.

Members showed off their skills by completing a floorwork routine and vault work.

Alice Nock, who runs the school gym club, said: "We're extremely pleased about how well they have done and they are really pleased with themselves as well.

"We are very, very proud."

Pupils put in the hard graft and had attended a Tuesday night club since September.

They also practised at lunchtimes for two weeks before the competition.
