THE National Trust is seeking volunteers to join its team on the Clent Hills.

Volunteering opportunities are on offer at the Worcestershire beauty spot.

October Bishop, senior volunteering and community officer for the National Trust at Croome, said: ‘We are excited to be recruiting more volunteers to join our teams at National Trust places in Herefordshire and Worcestershire.

“There are lots of roles available across the different properties, so we’re sure you’ll find something that sparks your interest. You don’t need experience, you just need to be welcoming, positive and ready to learn. Volunteers can claim their travel expenses too, so that you’re never out of pocket.”

People keen to get out in the fresh air and help look after the countryside are invited to get in touch.

A spokesperson for the trust said: “Clent Hills relies on the kind people who offer their time in any way they can to look after this nature and wildlife haven and help welcome everyone who visits.

“The National Trust offers a flexible and rewarding volunteering experience where you can share your knowledge or learn new skills, meet interesting people and help to shape our future plans.

“You don't have to do set days or hours and there are even opportunities for you to volunteer from home.”
