INCONSIDERATE motorists are making it a "nightmare" for pedestrians in Halesowen, according to a fed-up dog walker.

Gill Thurlow shared images of cars blocking pavements on Hawne Lane and Cherry Orchard Avenue on the Halesowen Times - Take Two Facebook page.

Gill, who walks her dog daily with her husband Paul said: "Walking the local area is becoming a nightmare with the selfish parking.

"So glad I'm not a wheelchair user."

The retired school business manager, who is in her 60s and lives in Attwood Street, said she shared the pictures after becoming fed-up with the problem, which she said is getting worse in the area.

She said: "It's becoming a major problem.

"We walk every day with our dog and are noticing it more and more.

"Sometimes I have my granddaughter in the pushchair and have to go into the road.

"It's just so inconsiderate of people."

Gill said she had thought about leaving notices on people's cars to make people think about what they are doing.
