TWO teenagers have been charged after a man was held at gunpoint during a carjacking in Oldbury.
Just before 4.10am on May 10 a man was threatened with a firearm and ordered to hand over keys to his Toyota car in Bloxcidge Street.
The vehicle was taken but West Midlands Police tracked and stopped the vehicle within half an hour near Small Heath, Birmingham and arrested two 16-year-old boys.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Police said: “We found a gun – which has now been confirmed as a BB gun – and a knife inside the vehicle and further forensic examinations are taking place.”
The boys have been charged with robbery and possessing an imitation firearm.
They were remanded in custody to appear at Wolverhampton Magistrates Court today (May 11).
