MORE than 250 cannabis plants have been found after a police raid on two neighbouring properties in Oldbury.
West Midlands Police officers raided a house on Century Road they ‘believed to have been growing cannabis’ and found around 130 plants.
While the team was waiting for the house to be made safe, they discovered a further cannabis farm of 125 plants next door.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Police said: "We carried out a drugs warrant at a premises in Century Road, Oldbury, just before 8am yesterday, Wednesday 31 May.
"We found approximately 130 cannabis plants at the location. We also discovered that electricity from the building was being bypassed to a nearby property where we found another cannabis grow of 125 plants. Our enquiries are continuing.
