NEW food hygiene ratings have been awarded to Dudley’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

The following rating has been given to one restaurant, cafe or canteen:

• Rated 4: Basuri at 89 Dudley Road, Halesowen; rated on July 13 And four ratings have been handed to takeaways:

• Rated 4: Sea City at 203 Stourbridge Road, Halesowen; rated on July 13

• Rated 3: Netherton Tasty Bites at Unit 1, 12 Bush Road, Netherton, Dudley; rated on July 13

• Rated 2: Munch Inn, at 10 Wolverhampton Street, Dudley, rated on July 10

• Rated 0: Three Amigos, at 187 High Street, Lye, rated on July 10.

The ratings have been published on the Food Standards Agency’s website which rates businesses from zero to five so customers can make more informed choices about where to buy and eat food.

A rating of five means hygiene standards are very good, four means hygiene standards are good, three means hygiene standards are generally satisfactory, two means some improvement is necessary, a rating of one means major improvement is necessary and a rating of zero means urgent improvement is required.
