A MOTORCYCLIST has suffered "potentially serious injuries" in a Kingswinford crash.
The crash involving a car and motorbike happened on High Street, Kingswinford, at 8.23am this morning (Tuesday January 2).
Traffic was blocked in both directions between Manor Park and Windermere Drive.
A man who was riding the motorbike was hurt and was taken to Russells Hall Hospital.
A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 8.23am to a road traffic collision involving a car and a motorbike on High Street, Kingswinford.
"One ambulance attended the scene.
"Upon arrival we found a man who was the motorcyclist.
"He was assessed and had sustained potentially serious injuries.
"He received treatment at the scene and was conveyed to Russells Hall Hospital for further assessment."
Driving conditions are treacherous today as rain is battering the region.
