DUDLEY residents are being invited to take part in a garden fete taking place at an Oldswinford home today.
Queen of culture Pat Wakelam will be making an appearance at Oriel Care Home, Hagley Road, Oldswinford from 2pm.
Among the many stalls there will be strawberries and champagne, a raffle, tombola, cake stall and face painting with entertainment being provided by Paul Woodhead, a one man orchestra.
Proceeds from the garden party will towards the residents’ annual Christmas outing, Queen Pat said: “It’s a real pleasure to have been asked to open such a wonderful event. It promises to be a lovely day and I hope lots of people will come along and enjoy it with us.”
