Pensioners enjoyed a holiday atmosphere at an event at a Halesowen christian centre.
More than 100 OAPs were invited to Zion Christian Centre to enjoy games, activities, entertainment and food as part of the three day Holiday at Home event funded by a £900 grant from the community group Dosti.
Janet Whitehead from Zion said: "Taking into consideration many people of this generation are not able to enjoy the holiday experience due to dietary, mobility, companionship or financial limitations we thought we’d host one here!
"It was a great success we received lots of great feedback and appreciation from guests.
"We are so pleased at how it has gone and will now be arranging follow-up events as well as another ‘holiday’ next year.
"It has been great to serve the local community in this way and we are excited about future plans."
Groups from Halas Homes and Options for Life charities which provide support for people with learning disabilities attended.
