HALESOWEN Golf Club is gearing up for its annual charity weekend.

The weekend, which will feature men's and mixed competitions and raffles, including one with the prize of a week's holiday in a Spanish villa, will be held this Saturday and Sunday (July 11 and 12).

It will raise momey for Cancer Support which is based at The White House in Dudley.

Local firms including GMB Tool Hire, Horseleys Hairdressers, Beghals Wine store and Shapers on Long Lane have sponsored the event with more sponsorship needed.
