Rowley Regis teenager makes the Teen Queen UK semi-final

A Rowley Regis girl has made the semi-final of Teen Queen UK and is counting on local people propelling her to the national final.

Ashleigh Hughes, aged 14, was spotted at the Clothes Show and was entered into the competition.

Ashleigh’s mom Sarah said: “After being scouted we received a call to say she had been chosen by a panel of judges and had beaten over 6000 girls to make it to the next round and they wanted her to attend a photo shoot at Fairlight Studios in London.

“Then we found out she had made it through to the semi-finals and that her picture has been put on their website www.teenqueenuk.com along with another 50 girls where it will go to a public vote for the next stage.”

Sarah added: “Basically Ashleigh needs as many votes as possible before February 14 to continue further in the competition and needs local public support.
