THE police have announced the name of the man who died in a fatal crash in Oldbury last week.
Sanpreet Singh Johal, a 25-year-old man from Smethwick, died in the crash on Christbridge at10pm on Wednesday April 14.
The incident a red Toyota MR2, which it is believed was travelling towards Oldbury town centre when left the carriageway and crashed.
The second man in the car, a 23 year old from the Oldbury area, suffered serious injuries and remains detained in a serious condition in hospital.
Traffic officers are seeking any witnesses to the incident. Anyone with information to assist the inquiry is urged to contact the Collision Investigation Unit on 0845 113 5000 ext 7841 6014.
