Budding Rapunzels are being invited to start their search for a handsome prince with a complimentary trip to Warwick Castle this summer.

Throughout the school holidays (23 July – 6 September), all merry maidens (or heroic knights) with beautiful, waist-length hair can gain free entry to the castle.

This spellbinding treat for those with flowing follicles celebrates one year since the Princess Tower opened its doors and offered wannabe knights and princesses the chance to fulfil their dreams.

The tower has become a family favourite since opening last July, and gives little princesses the chance to enter the beautiful Princess Arabella’s dressing room to help her prepare for her forthcoming wedding.

Mini guests are also invited to delve into the magical dressing up box, full of glittering tiaras and gallant knight’s attire to try on for size.

Georgina Kelly, sales and marketing director for Warwick Castle, says: “Since it opened, the Princess Tower has proven to be one of our most popular attractions, with little girls and boys desperate to be given the royal treatment. We’re so pleased with how successful the tower has been, and we want to celebrate that success by offering everyone with beautiful, Rapunzel-like hair free entry to the castle throughout the summer.”

For those with slightly less hair, a visit to Warwick Castle this summer is now even greater value than before if you book in advance online. A day pass for a family of four is available from £47, for further information or to book tickets visit www.warwick-castle.com
