Windsor High School’s dance company Pride are set to star on Sky’s Got to Dance talent show.

The group passed an audition with producers in Birmingham and now will perform in front of the celebrity judges Ashley Banjo from Diversity, West End star Adam Garcia and Pussycat Doll Kimberly Wyatt.

The group will also meet Davina McCall who is the presenter for the show and being involved in the filming for the show which will be shown on sky one early in 2011.

If successful Pride will go through to the live semi-finals when viewers will be able to vote for their favourite act to go through to the final.

A spokesman for the Windsor High School said: “PRIDE (Providing support and Resources for Individuals with Dance Excellence) was set up for pupils at Windsor High School and Sixth form who have a talent for dance and are thinking of it as a career.

“Along with weekly lessons towards performance they are also involved in a programme that looks at fitness, health, injury, trips to see professional companies and a yearly residential in London where they attend classes at the world famous Pineapple Studios.”
