KIND-HEARTED mechanics from an Oldbury auto centre will be treading carefully when they roll a huge pink tyre to Kidderminster for charity. The team of ten from HiQ Easy Tyre and Autocentre will be stopping off at their Dudley branch during the eight mile journey into Worcestershire on Saturday.

They will be pushing the wheel along pavements and hoping to raise £1,000 for Breast Cancer Care cash by shaking collection buckets as they go .

Easy Tyre and Autocentre’s marketing manager Emma-Jane Kisby said: “We have wanted to do something to remember for the HiQ fast fit network and we are all excited by this challenge.

“I’m not sure how much training the guys have done for the big push, but I’m sure they will all be in the right shape come Saturday.”

The HiQ fast fit network is hoping to hit the £100,000 for Breast Cancer Care by the end of October and is pulling out all the stops for the cause.
