CHILDREN at a Halesowen primary school were given and up close and personal lesson about guidedogs this week.

A handler for Guide Dogs for the Blind brought his trusty labradore Harmony to Manor Way Primary School, Brier Hill Road, to raise awareness of the work the charity does.

A spokesman for Manor Way Primary School said: “The children loved seeing the dog and now have a better understanding of the importance of guide dogs to the blind.”
