Short Cross Methodist Church is holding a coffee morning and cake sale next weekend.

The Attwood Street church is raising cash for the Breast Cancer Campaign at the event on Saturday, October 15.

Margaret Whitfield, from the church, said: “We are all looking forward to the coffee morning and hope to raise as much money for a great charity as we can.

“There will be plenty of cakes available to buy and the coffee morning starts at 10am.”
