A fundraising event in aid of ITP Support Association in Romsley has been hailed a success.
ITP Support Association is a national charity which was established in 1999 to support sufferers of the rare autoimmune bleeding disorder, Immune Thrombocytopenia.
Romsley resident Nicola Cotton helped organise the event and attendees enjoyed locally produced food, mulled wine, tea, coffee and soft drinks and a silent auction was held for a donation of goods by a local hairdresser. A raffle was also held.
The total from the Romsley event raised £450 an additional £300 was raised by two events held last week at the day nurseries of Mrs Nicola Cotton.
