POLICE are appealing for help to identify a suspect burglar after five homes were broken into in one Quinton street over four nights.
The latest burglary in Wilmington Road was captured on CCTV in the early hours as the offender is seen to jump over a rear garden fence, break into the house through an unsecured window and escaped with an mp3 player.
Detective Inspector Jim Foy, from Birmingham South CID, said: "We are keen to hear from anyone who recognises the man in the CCTV image, who is wearing a distinctive hooded top with DEPOT in large letters across the front.
"We believe that he may live outside the area and be travelling into Quinton to commit crime."
The burglary happened on Monday May 28 and anyone with information should contact Birmingham South CID on 101 or ring Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
