LABOUR MP John Spellar is making a fact-finding mission to the recently-opened Ahmadiyya Muslim mosque in Halesowen on Friday to meet members, many of whom live within his Warley constituency.

As well as meeting association members, he will be told about the community work they carry out as part of their “adopt a street” campaign.

Outreach worker Toby Ephram said a recent litter pick in the streets around the Long Lane mosque had been very successful and other environmental improvements to the area were planned, including tree planting.
