Bully sentenced after robbing schoolboys in Oldbury park

A TEENAGE bully from Oldbury who robbed three frightened schoolboys of their mobile phones, after threatening to beat them up, has been sentenced to two years in custody.

Dylan Coffin intimidated the boys for no reason as they were playing football in Bury Hill Park and scared them into handing over their phones, Wolverhampton Crown Court was told.

Police later arrested the 18-year-old in Oldbury Library and recovered the mobiles from the toilet area of the building.

Coffin, of Dingle Street, admitted three charges of robbery and will serve his sentence in a young offenders institution.
