Dare-devil scooter riders to show off skills in Oldbury

The UK's top freestyle pro-scooter team will be showing off their skills in Oldbury next month.

The extreme sport team will be performing at Toys R Us on Saturday, August 4 to display their award winning talents.

Team Razor, a group of seven stunt riders who have appeared on BBC’s Blue Peter, will demonstrate dare-devil stunts and tricks on a portable high ramp, erected outside the toy store.

Team Razor’s manager, Martin Kimbell, said: “The event is a great way to get involved in this new sport, watching the UK’s best scooter talent take to the ramps themselves is very inspiring. The team will be performing a host of skills so kids and teens who are interested in learning more about freestyle scootering or developing their own talents should come down and learn from the best.”

Visitors can watch Team Razor perform on Saturday 4 August at Wolverhampton Road, Oldbury , B69 4RJ from 12pm to 4pm. Entry if free.

Sounds like a good show and free too - just like the display and noise of two motorbikes driven up and down Farm Road in Langley every night - the riders don't wear crash helmets, the bikes don't have lights - maybe the police could some and lurk in a side road between 2230 and 2245 hrs each night and maybe throw a spikey thing across the road? We could watch that for free as well.
