Huge interest in new Coombs Wood housing development

OVER 1000 people have made enquires about the controversial Coombes Wood housing development The Pavilions.

The Pavilions will see 59 properties built on the former cricket club ground after planning permission was granted after years of rows.

However, Barratt West Midlands announced that demand was high for the new properties with over 1000 people wanting to know more about the properties.

Sales manager for Barratt Katie Yates said: “We’re delighted with the amount of enquires we’ve had for The Pavilions which we hope will lead to a great launch and a successful start.

“We will be opening the doors to the development in October and there will be plenty for visitors to see as the sales centre will be open and we have two brand new show homes which will also be ready for viewing.”

The 59 new properties will be a range of two-bedroom apartments and two, three and four-bedroom houses.

Mrs Yates said: “The number of enquires we’ve had should be a good indication of the number of visitors we can expect once The Pavilions is open and we’re looking forward to showing people round the show homes and talking them through the development plans.“

Barratt believe Halesowen is on the up and people from across the West Midlands will want to move in.

“Halesowen is a great location which has plenty to offer with a selection of amenities including schools, supermarkets and shops, it is also well served by public transport.

“We can’t wait for October when we will be able to show visitors round this great new development and tell them all about the future plans.”
