Cradley Heath charity to double donations

KINDHEARTED people who donate cash to a Cradley Heath charity can double their donations by using a website.

Loaves n Fishes donates furniture and clothes to people in need.

Founder Anna Hartland said from September 25 the website localgiving.com will match donations made via its pages.

She said: “If anyone gives for example £10 they will match it and give another £10.

“It’s a simple and safe process of payment and a great opportunity to double your giving.

“They have a pot of money to give and will keep going till the pots empty.”

The campaign Anna refers to is called Grow Your Tenner. Localgiving.com will match donations made to charities on its website up to a maximum of £10 per donation. The campaign begins on September 25, so local charities should sign up to Localgiving.com to take advantage of this opportunity.
