Leasowes students celebrate record results

STUDENTS at Halesowen ’s Leasowes High School are today celebrating the news that 99 per cent of them have achieved five or more A*-C grades at GCSE.

The record results are a four per cent increase on last year and include 56 per cent of students gaining five or more A*-C grades, including English and maths.

As students across the Dudley borough collected their results Councillor Tim Crumpton , cabinet member for children’s services, said: “I would like to congratulate all pupils who have received their results today and wish them every success for the future.

“The results are testimony not only to the hard work of students but also to the teachers and parents who have supported them in their studies, well done.”
