Charity's Halesowen HQ to stage will making day
1:00pm Saturday 25th August 2012 in News
A CHILDREN’S charity will open the doors of its Midlands headquarters in Halesowen next month for a special Make A Will Day.
The event, on Thursday September 13 from 10am until 7pm, will double as an opportunity for people to gain an insight into the history and modern day work of the charity.
Dylan Caroll, Barnardo’s legacy manager, said: “Almost half of the income Barnardo's receives from supporters still comes from money left in wills.
“We have invited people who already support us but the event is open to anyone interested in finding out how public donations are put to good use helping to turn lives around”
“The free will service does not obligate people to make a donation to Barnardo’s and the advice is totally independent and confidential.”
