Bumper crop of exhibits wanted to boost Colley Gate crafts and produce show

ORGANISERS of the first crafts and produce show at a Colley Gate club are hoping for a bumper crop of exhibits.

People are invited to show off their home made cakes, wines, preserves, flower arrangements and paintings in the show at The Laurels Club on Saturday September 29.

A children’s section is also being held and the show will be opened by Dudley’s deputy mayor and mayoress Councillor Alan Finch and his wife Heather at 1pm.

The town crier will be there and there will also be a farmers’ market on the car park of the Windmill Hill club, face painting and - weather permitting - a bouncy castle.

Club secretary Chris Legiewicz hopes the show will attract a big turnout both of exhibitors and spectators. Entry forms are available behind the bar.
