Colley Gate man burgled friend's flat after helping him move

A COLLEY Gate man who admitted burglaring a vulnerable friend's new flat shortly after helping him to move in has been jailed for a year.

Jason Wilkes, aged 34, of Severn Road,  took a key without permission after helping his friend move and returned with a second man and stole property including a TV, 100 DVDs and electrical equipment.

Prosecutor Edward Soulsby told Wolverhampton Crown Court was told some of the property had been recovered by police but the majority of the items were still missing.
