Charity night in memory of popular Halesowen nurse
11:07am Wednesday 12th September 2012 in News
A CHARITY night in aid of Mary Stevens Hospice is being organised in memory of a well-known and much loved retired Halesowen nurse who died from cancer just over a year ago, aged 69.
Gordon Bradley wanted to thank the Stourbridge hospice for the care they gave his wife Patricia during the later stages of her illness.
About 150 people will attend the charity night in celebration of her life at Benjamins, featuring a disco and buffet, on Saturday September 29 at 7.30pm.
Mr Bradley, aged 72, of Meadowbrook Road, said his wife had been a nursing sister, working in various hospitals including Corbett and Russells Hall.
Tickets are £1 and are available from Mr Bradley on 0121 602 0040.
