HALESOWEN was alive to the sound of pounding feet on Sunday morning as it hosted its first ever fun run.

More than 400 competitors took part in the event organised by Halesowen and Rowley Regis Rotary Club, raising cash for Macmillan Cancer Support, Birmingham Children's Hospital, the Midland Air Ambulance and a host of other charities.
