College students raise cash for charity

BIG-hearted BTEC level two diploma sports students at Halesowen College have raised more than £90 during an hour-long fun run for Macmillan Cancer Support.

The event was organised by Faith Marland, aged 16, and 17-year-olds Lorraine Gennard, Lauren Gennard and Rashana Gordon.

Course leader Rebecca Morgan said: “I’m very proud of the group for organising this fundraising activity and raising so much money for a good cause.”
