Oldbury pervert had a history of sex attacks

THE pervert who snatched a terrified 10-year-old boy off the street in Oldbury before sexually abusing him at his ground floor flat was already a convicted paedophile.
Michael Jackson, aged 50, of Lowrey Court, Bristnall Hall Road, has a criminal history that goes back to 1976 and includes two sexual assaults committed in the early 1980's.
In 1981 Jackson was given a two-year probation order after he took a woman off the street to a quiet spot where she was molested.
Then, two years later, he lured a 13-year-old girl into his tower block apartment before grabbing her at knifepoint and tying her up with her roller boot laces.
His criminal background emerged during yesterday's hearing at which he pleaded guilty to kidnapping the 10-year-old boy, false imprisonment, sexual assault and kidnapping with intent to commit a sexual last November and to abducting an 11-year-old Oldbury girl in September 2011.
Sentencing was adjourned until October 29 for reports.
