New reverend for Halesowen and Blackheath Methodists

Blackheath and Halesowen Methodist circuit has a new minister and he is delighted to be in the Black Country.

Reverend Paul Edwards has already met his flock at Hasbury, Short Cross and Romsley Methodist churches.

He said: “Everyone seems very friendly and I am happy to be here, the countryside is beautiful on the ride out to Romsley.”

He added: “I am looking to continue to keep the story of Jesus alive in Blackheath, Halesowen and Romsley.”

Rev Edwards has moved up from Yate with his wife and is 62-years-old and is expected to stay in the area for at least five years.”

Blackheath and Halesowen Methodist circuit includes Central, Hurst Green, Crossway, Hasbury, Romsley and Short Cross Methodist churches and Rev Edwards will work alongside Rev Paul Clapham.
