Spotlight turns on Halesowen College's £3m new block

HALESOWEN College is already gearing up for its open day next mionth when it will show off its new £3 million extension.

Block 10 has been specially commissioned to house travel and tourism, animal care, an active learning zone and facilities for students with learning difficulties.

The college will be promoting its choice of courses and  flexible learning programme for students combining A levels and more practical vocational courses. at the event on Saturday November 3.

Principal Keith Bate said: “Our open days are always extremely busy, giving potential students the opportunity to see our excellent facilities and find out more about our wide range of courses.

“Students here at Halesowen can have the choice of a wide range of study options to suit their specific needs, this is an exciting move forward.”

The open day at the Whittingham Road campus will be from 10am until 4pm.
