PARK users have just over a week let to vot for their favourite green space in Oldbury which could see it flying a national flag.
Barnford Park and Barnford and Farm Road allotments are in the running for the Green Flag People's Choice Awards 2012.
They are among 12 Green Flag-awarded parks and green spaces in Sandwell up for consderation and voting closes on Sunday October 14.
Councillor Ian Jones, Sandwell Council's cabinet member for neighbourhood services, said: "We are proud to have 12 Green Flags in Sandwell, and at least one in each of the six towns.
"This is credit to the work of everyone involved, including council staff, friends groups, allotment holders and the wider public.
"I would urge people to get behind Sandwell's parks and green spaces in this public vote, and help give further recognition to our 12 Green Flag spaces."
