First anniversary success for Oldbury business centre

A BUSINESS centre in Oldbury celebrated its first anniversary with a get to know the neighbours buffet.

Since opening its doors last October, Pure Offices in Broadwell Road has become home to 25 companies and now has more than 70 occupiers.

The buffet provided an opportunity for the occupiers to learn about assistance available from Sandwell Council, as well as to get to know their neighbours.

Nearly half of the available offices have now been filled, with St John’s Ambulance, TLE, Executive Mail Data and Document Solutions and Surepay Solutions all recently moving in.

Councillor Derek Rowley, Sandwell’s cabinet member for jobs and economy, said it was great news to see the centre filling up.

“It’s important to have high quality, affordable, contemporary office space which helps attract new business to the borough,” he said.
