A MAN was stabbed in the neck in an horrific unprovoked attack in Cradley Heath at the weekend.
The incident happened as the 26-year-old walked along Station Road near the Crown Inn at 10.50pm on Saturday (October 13).
Police are appealing for witnesses to the stabbing which they believe was “totally unprovoked” and have been conducting door to door enquiries in the area.
The victim, who was walking home when he was attacked, was taken to hospital by ambulance.
A spokeswoman for West Midlands Police said his injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
No arrests have been made in connection with the incident. The attacker is described as male, five foot six, of stocky build.
