Have a swimming time with new classes

CHILDREN can take the plunge and learn to swim this autumn at Halesowen Leisure Centre, with lessons for beginners from four months to four years old.
As well as duckling swimming courses for three and four-year-olds, there will be swim-a-song classes for youngsters from four months to two years, mother and toddler sessions and new two-hour swimming and story sessions for children up tp four years.
Councillor Tracy Wood, cabinet member for environment and culture, said: “There are so many different swimming lessons on offer at the leisure centres for learners of all ages. The swimming courses are always very popular and people are encouraged to enrol as soon as possible.”
