Rowley Regis chef wins national curry accolade

One of the top 20 curry chefs in the country Shahidur Rahman.
A ROWLEY Regis chef has been named as one of the nation’s top 20 curry chefs this year.
Shahidur Rahman, who cooks up a storm at Raj Spice, took part in the Curry Life Chef Awards at the World Curry Expo, London.
Mr Rahman said: “I have been working in the curry business for many years and it is a great honour to be recognised. I always put 100% into my cooking and I am glad people recognise that effort.
“I have picked up the award but any good restaurant is about a team effort and this award will be for everyone at the Raj Spice.
“I would like to also thank all my regular customers who nominated me for this prestigious award."
The Curry Life Chef Awards at the World Curry Expo included exhibition stands, cooking workshops and an appearance by Indian celebrity chef Utpal Mondal is organised by Curry Life.
