PEOPLE across the borough are invited to nominate people worthy of praise for their services to the community.
Police and Crime Commissioner David Jamieson wants to give people chance to show their appreciation for unsung heroes who are worthy of recognition for outstanding acts of good citizenship.
Anyone is invited to nominate a volunteer, community member or group that has shown consistent dedication to the community over a period of time, giving up time to help others in ways which have contributed to community safety or cutting crime and disorder.
There are three categories - outstanding citizen, outstanding young citizen (under the age of 18), outstanding community project The closing date for nominations is March 31.
