A POPULAR borough venue is set to reopen its doors next month.
Dudley Town Hall has been closed since December last year after cracks appeared in the plaster on the ceiling.
A number of shows had to be rescheduled or moved to alternative venues as work took place.
But as repair work is on schedule, Councillor Hilary Bills, cabinet member for leisure and culture, announced the shows will go on from late April.
Cllr Bills said: “The ceiling restoration work is on schedule and we are taking advantage of this down-time to do additional preventative work to the underside of the balcony ceiling.
"This means that the work itself will be completed and the lighting rigs back in place in time for our next show in late April.”
