THE ambitious Age UK Dudley Springboard Project hasn't looked back since relocating to the Waterfront Activity Centre in Brierley Hill just one year ago.

Since then, the service, which is aimed at the over 50s, has gone from strength to strength.

Funded by the Big Lottery, the project has now launched its May to August programme. which provides a bumper 35 activities and courses.

They range from a men's morning to exercise classes and circle dancing for people with low level dementia.

There's also a choir, drama, dancing and stitch-in-time classes for all those enthusiastic in knitting, crochet and sewing.

Added to that are the more energetic pursuits such as zumba, aerobic and nordic walking classes.

There's even courses in computers, iPads and tablets, while others can try their skills at art, glass engraving, photography or enjoy a full programme of day trips on offer.
