AWARD-WINNING Wordsley thespians are getting set to bring to life a tense, atmospheric thriller that promises to keep audience members on the edge of their seats.
Wordsley Amateur Dramatic Society is presenting Edge of Darkness at Stream Road Methodist Church, Kingswinford, from Wednesday April 29 to Saturday May 2.
The play, penned by Brian Clemens who wrote TV hits The Avengers and The Professionals, is set at the start of the 20th century and centres on the Cranwells who move to a remote seaside home to recover from a family trauma but life is uneasy in the lonely, shadow-filled house.
Veteran society performer Brian Dickinson is among the cast members in this creepy drama, directed by Andrew Wood, which also stars Steph Oakley and Megan Jones (pictured).
Tickets, priced £7 (£6 for pensioners and full-time students under 21), are available from the box office on 01384 273026.
