A BRAVE Amblecote beauty therapist is bracing herself for a close cut by having her head shaved next week for the Macmillan Cancer charity.
Award winning hair stylist Tim Scott-Wright will perform the hair-raising deed on 29-year-old Natalie Gregg at his Meriden Avenue salon, in Wollaston, next Thursday afternoon.
Natalie, who lives off Brettle Lane, has been a huge Macmillian supporter since she lost her cousin Amy Nicholls to cancer six years ago when she was just 20.
She said: “I did Race for Life three years running and I also held a coffee morning for them last year and raised £80.
“As a result, I was on their mailing list and they sent through details challenging people to 'brave the shave', so I thought, why not!”
Natalie has already raised in excess of £1,850 ahead of the shave and said: “Tim has been doing my hair for the past five years and I trust him totally.
“Macmillan is a charity close to my heart, especially as everybody knows someone who has suffered with cancer and that's why I try to help them.”
